Brian Vaughn - Voice, Piano
Brian E. Vaughn graduated from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and a Masters of Music in Teaching. Now in his 38th year of classroom teaching, Mr. Vaughn has made a career out of helping others find their true voice through singing instruction.
He has served as Music Director at some of Houston’s premier private schools, including The Kinkaid School, Episcopal High School, The Village School and now Stafford Municipal School District. Mr. Vaughn is well-versed in all styles and eras of music, from formal classical styles to pop, jazz and musical theater. Whether you are a beginning musician or more experienced, Mr. Vaughn believes in meeting the student where they are on their musical journey and going forward together.
He has performed and recorded as soloist and with professional ensembles throughout the US and has been active in television and motion picture
soundtrack recordings.
Mr. Brian is at the studio on Mondays and Saturdays.

Students will be able to use the full capabilities of a piano including dynamics, pedaling, musical phrasing, and dramatic interpretation. Students will be able to participate in seasonal recitals at one of Houston’s many venues. Recitals, included in their tuition, display each student’s personal achievements in their instrument. Our students have the option to perform piano, guitar, violin, viola, voice/singing, cello, and drums!
