Esteban Velazquez - Voice, Piano
Esteban V. is a classically-trained musician with a focus on vocal performance, a native Houstonian, and has over 6 years of experience teaching children how to sing in various styles and play the piano in a fun but diligent manner.
From a young age, he's loved music and the arts and developed a fascination with gaining understanding in multiple domains of knowledge. He is a true renaissance man as he's a personal trainer, a salsa dancer, a comic artist, a youtuber, marathon runner, and will talk about psychology/philosophy all day long.
A choir kid all throughout middle, high school, and college, Esteban completed his Bachelor's Degree in Music at San Jacinto Community College then transferred to the University of St. Thomas with a full-ride scholarship. Esteban started teaching in 2019 and has helped numerous students of all ages achieve their goals of increased music literacy, improved practice habits, and success in music auditions. Notably, he has sent 2 students to Texas State University!
Despite all the interests he has, nothing quite has him hooked like music does. His feelings of being anxious on stage as a child transformed into a deep excitement and love for performance that he hopes to share with every single one of his students.
