Eric Estrada Valadez - Piano, Drums
Eric Estrada is a composer and music educator with extensive experience teaching students of all ages and levels. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from the University of Houston and has taught music theory, composition, and instrumental lessons in both academic and private settings.
Eric teaches piano, guitar, and drums, and works with beginners, hobbyists, and advanced students alike. His teaching focuses on building strong musical foundations while keeping lessons engaging, creative, and tailored to each student’s interests and goals.
In addition to teaching, Eric maintains an active career as a composer, with his music performed internationally and recognized through multiple awards and commissions.
Mr. Eric teaches at our Bellaire studio on Tuesdays.

The American Music Academy takes pride in supplying our students with the best upright pianos to practice their modern or classical repertoire. Students will be able to use the full capabilities of a piano including dynamics, pedaling, musical phrasing, and dramatic interpretation. Students will be able to participate in seasonal recitals at one of Houston’s many venues. Recitals, included in their tuition, display each student’s personal achievements in their instrument. Our students have the option to perform piano, guitar, violin, viola, voice/singing, cello, and drums!
